Searching the Catalog

It will tell you what is available both online and on the shelves.  Be sure to note the location, call number and whether or not the item is checked out.  Click on the link above to search for items in our library catalog. Catalog Search Tip

Find a book related to your topic. Click on the title, then browse the Subjects links included in the record to “find more like this one”. Once you click on a Subjects link, you will be taken to a list of all the items in the catalog that share that subject heading.

Interlibrary Loan

Submit ILL Request

Interlibrary Loan allows you to request research materials (i.e. print book or article) from another library when Transy does not own what you need. Click on the icon above to request an item through interlibrary loan. You can also click on “Interlibrary Loan” under the “Quick Links” section in the bottom left corner of the library’s homepage.

Articles will appear in your email usually within 3-5 days. Books and other items will be mailed to the library. It might take two weeks or longer to receive a print book. Requested books through ILL will be held at the front desk. You will be contacted when the item arrives.
