Welcome to Interlibrary Loan (ILL)! ILL obtains books, articles, book chapters, and other research materials not owned by Transy Library from other libraries for our students, faculty and staff.
Our ILL service uses Tipasa, a resource sharing management software from OCLC, to process all ILL requests. The Tipasa system allows you to place ILL requests, track your requests, check due dates, and view your ILL borrowing history.
After logging in for the first time, make sure your communication preferences are selected, and going to the correct email or phone number. This enables the system to send automated updates about your ILL requests. The Tipasa system allows you to receive updates at the email address of your choice. You may also choose to receive updates via text (SMS.)
You can use this same system to request materials, including articles and book chapters, that Transy library owns. We will scan them and deliver them to your email address. If you request a whole book that Transy Library owns in physical format, we will hold it for you to pick up at the Library Desk.
