Faculty and Staff Information: Information Literacy Plan

Instructing your students

We have a plan to educate students on how to seek, use, incorporate, and evaluate information.  It is linked below.

We use the ACRL Framework for information Literacy as the basis of our plan.  Its defintion is: "Information literacy is the set of integrated abilities encompassing the reflective discovery of information, the understanding of how information is produced and valued, and the use of information in creating new knowledge and participating ethically in communities of learning."

Talk with Helen Bischoff or Beth Carpenter for additional information and for incorporating instruction sessions geared toward your students' needs.
