Your course assignments may require that you access texts written in a variety of languages. The tutorials below can help you refine your academic research by language.

How do I search for resources written in a specific language?

For example: You'd like to find resources in Spanish about Pablo Picasso to check out from the Transy Library. 

  1. Start by doing an Advanced Search in the Transy catalog 
  2. Enter your keywords in the "Any Field" box (in this case: Pablo Picasso)
  3. Use the "Language Drop-Down" menu to select Spanish

To further refine your search to include only ebooks, articles, peer-reviewed, etc:

  1. Select filter options located on the left-hand side of your search screen. 
  2. eResources will be denoted with a link; Physical items/resources will have a library call number or physical location for the item in the library building.
