This index is based on the card file index created primarily by J. Winston Coleman himself. There may be ideas and topics in the scrapbooks that are not included in this index. It has been added to slowly by librarians and should not be considered complete. There may also be terminology used which is no longer current or even offensive.
We suggest using the "ctrl f" function on your keyboard to search for keywords in this google document, then going to the appropriate volume and page number in the online list of available scrapbooks. Pages were hand numbered by Coleman usually on the upper left or upper right of the pages. This is the number that you will be looking for in the scrapbooks.
If the scrapbook you want has not yet been made available online, please contact the library and we will do our best to help you get what you want.
